PHILOSOPHY: Our criminal defense practice centers on keeping the client fully informed.  We encourage questions, provide copies of all legal paperwork, and consult with our clients before all decisions are made in the case.

Take a look at the “Legal Research” section of this web page.  We have included a large number of links to help those who are willing to spend some time educating themselves about their legal rights.  We have also included a rather detailed section on the procedure of a typical felony case in the section titled “Court Procedure.”

We have included all this information because we believe you have every right to be fully involved in your case and know everything that is happening.  We know from experience that our clients are the most qualified person to assist me in preparing a case for trial--he or she is usually the only person who actually knows what happened! We wholeheartedly want as much of your assistance and involvement as you can give.

We also believe that if you and your attorney have a good working relationship, your attorney will be able to do a better job for you.  If you are not comfortable with how your attorney is practicing law or representing you in court, you would be much better off with an attorney you are comfortable with.

Call and set up an appointment to see if we are a good match.  We know we are not the perfect attorney for everyone.  If you are not completely comfortable with us, please keep looking until you find someone that meets your needs.

Remember, its your case—the attorney tells you your options and makes recommendations, but you make the final decision on what ultimately happens.
